You Were Never Meant to Live Like a Slave
March 12, 2026
So many women are living beneath their identity, striving, performing, and surviving. But God designed you for something far greater than survival mode.
There's a quiet epidemic among women of faith. We know the scriptures. We attend the services. We serve in every ministry that asks. And yet, deep inside, we're exhausted. We're performing for approval we already have. We're striving for a position that was already given to us at birth.
Romans 8:15 (NLT) says, "So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God's Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, 'Abba, Father.'"
You are not a slave. You are a daughter. And daughters don't beg for scraps at the table. They sit at the table. They don't perform for love. They receive it freely.
The Shift Begins with Identity
The Rooted in Love framework starts at the Gate, the place of restoration. Before you can align with your purpose or lead others, you must first come home to who you are. Not who the world told you to be. Not who pain shaped you into. But who God says you are.
This is the beginning of everything. When your foundation is restored, every other area of your life begins to shift. Your relationships. Your confidence. Your calling. Your peace.
Your Throne Has Been Waiting
If you've been living in survival mode, striving for worth, or hiding from your calling, hear this: your throne has been waiting. Not a throne of pride, but a throne of purpose. A place where you lead from love, serve from overflow, and walk in the fullness of who God created you to be.
Welcome home, beloved. It's time to stop surviving and start reigning.
